Today we introduce the standard of ISO 3758 - 2012 : Textiles - Care labelling code using symbols

This International Standard establishes a system of graphic symbols,intended for use in the marking of textile articles,and for providing information on the most severe treatment that does not cause irreversible damage to the article during the textile care process.

The following domestic treatments are covered: washing,bleaching,drying and ironing.

1.General:

Washing :

Bleaching : Care labelling symbols of textiles

Drying :

Ironing and pressing : Care labelling symbols of textiles

Professional textile care : Care labelling symbols of textiles

Of course the symbols above are just general indicators which give instructions about how to treat the textiles.There are many additional descriptives which shows more precise instructions of treatment temperature,which bleaching agent to use,how to choose the drying process,etc.
