    Fabric description and key features

    High-performance protective outerwear requires matching professional lining fabric—not just comfortable, but also flame-safe. Ordinary cotton or polyester linings will melt, drip or ignite under high temperature, causing secondary burns and compromising the entire PPE protection system. This is where IVM120 Inherent Flame Retardant Lining Fabric stands out.
    Specially developed as a dedicated FR lining material, IVM120 adopts a 50/50 meta-aramid and FR viscose blended plain weave structure. With an ultra-light 120gsm weight, it delivers permanent fiber-level flame retardancy without adding extra bulk or stuffiness to protective garments. It perfectly solves the common pain points of traditional FR linings: heavy weight, poor air permeability, rigid hand feel and fading flame resistance after washing. It is the ideal standard lining for mid-to-high-end flame-resistant workwear, firefighting suits and welding protective clothing.


    Different from conventional spray-coated FR lining fabrics, IVM120’s flame retardancy comes from the molecular structure of meta-aramid and FR viscose fibers, with no surface chemical finishing. When exposed to open flame or high heat, the fabric rapidly forms a stable carbonized protective layer to isolate heat sources. The flame retardant performance will never wash off or attenuate with repeated industrial laundering and long-term use, maintaining stable safety protection throughout the garment’s service life.
