The standard mainly specifies the following main indicators (which are also the core indicators of this standard) regarding the fabric of forest fireproof clothing

Forest fire protection fabric color: set to orange red. On the one hand, the determination of orange color is based on internationally accepted practices. Orange red is bright and eye-catching, easy to recognize in the forest. On the other hand, China has always required the use of orange in forest fire protection products, which has deeply rooted in people's hearts. As a professional forest fire extinguishing team, unifying the color of clothing is conducive to standardized management.

Flame retardant performance: mainly specifies that the duration of ignition and smoldering should be less than or equal to 1 second, and the length of damage should be less than or equal to 50 millimeters. These three indicators are slightly higher than the industry standard of the original "Forest Fire Protection Clothing" (LD58-94).

Physical and chemical properties: mainly specify the indicators of breaking strength (not less than 1100N and 1000N in both warp and weft directions) and tearing strength (not less than 100N in both warp and weft directions) after 50 washes. The physical and chemical properties have added indicators such as "mass per unit area, size change rate after washing, thermal stability, formaldehyde content, pH value, and color fastness".
